Current Is the Driving Force

Constant current is required to drive LEDs reliably. Lighting manufacturers are very often experts in light sources but have little experience with electronic components. To bridge this gap, Recom offers a complete solution with the RCD-24-x.xx series. This family offers current outputs of 300, 350, 500, 600 and 700 mA, which can also be adjusted using the analog dim-function. Simultaneously, the PWM –dim-function that operates at a frequency range of 20 to 200 Hz and the proving linear dimming can also be adjusted from 0 to 100 percent. The buck converters feature an input range of 4.5 to 36 volts.
